Shaun's favorite time of the day - before bedtime reading!  Last night I surprised him with the rest of the books in the Weirder School series that I had ordered through the school Book Fair, he couldn't wait until tonight so he could start the next book!

David has been playing in a baseball league this Fall and the age group is 10-12 year olds.  I think most of the kids are on the older side and he told me he's a little intimated at times.  He has never seen pitches come to him as fast as and hard before and it's been a challenge.  But he's definitely going to walk away from this league with a lot more experience.  He's starting to get a piece of the ball during his at bats and even hit the ball a few times.  He was thrown out both times, but making contact is a great start!

Shaun is getting better about making plays.  He was playing on defense and had the stopped the ball from going down the field.
