52 Weeks ~ 2017: Week 40

Week 40: weekly update includes Charlie's race day and our surprise trip to Walt Disney World! 

Sunday October 1st

Today Charlie ran a half marathon.  He usually runs in Boston this time of year but we had a secret trip planned during the event so he decided to run a local race.  The boys and I dropped him off at the start and had enough time to grab some breakfast at a nearby dinner.  We even got to see the start of the race and get a high five after the first mile before we headed to meet him at the finish line!

It was a gorgeous fall day for a race! This was one of his best races in a long time! He hasn't run this fast since 2014. He came in 9th overall and won 1st place in his age group! Official time was 1:20:53!

Thursday October 5th

Surprise!  We're going to Disney!

Our flight was delayed for 2 hours, so we didn't arrive to our hotel until really late!  It was right to be because we were starting our first day at the Magic Kingdom bright and early!

Friday October 6th

At the Magic Kingdom until mid-afternoon and then Epcot for dinner and fireworks!

Saturday October 7th

Character breakfast at the Garden Grill at Epcot!  We got to see Mickey, Pluto, Chip & Dale!

Week 39: weekly update includes Evan's back to school night at his school, and the Deerfield Fair!

Thursday September 28th

Today we headed to Evan's school for his open house.  He showed me all around his classroom and showed me his hopes and dreams for the year!

Saturday September 30th 

Today we headed to the Deerfield Fair with my mom and sister.  We try to go every year but because of sports, we missed it last year.  It was a cold and dreary day, but we still had lots of fun!

Wednesday September 20

A fever has the littlest home from school again, we had to pick him up on Monday.  Thought he would be able to go to school today but he woke up at 4am because his fever spiked again!

Tuesday September 12th

Today was Adpot-A-Spot at Shaun's school.  Each class heads out to help make the grounds look beautiful.  Every student gets to plant a bulb and Shaun was in charge of digging the whole and adding the bone meal for his class!

Taking advantage of a rare afternoon off from activities to enjoy the pool in mid-September!

Sunday August 27th

Today we headed to Canobie Lake for the last hurrah before school starts back up!  We didn't close the park down, but we came close.

Tuesday August 29th

Today Evan's school held an open house for students to come in and check out their classrooms before the first day!  He's ready to go!

We're back to school!

52 Weeks ~ 2017: Week 34

Week 34: weekly update includes a trip to the theater, senior portraits, back to school shopping, and floating the saco!

Sunday August 20th

Today we went to the theater to see Finding Neverland!  The show was amazing and Stronger is probably one of the best scenes I have ever seen in live theater.

Today I had booked some studio time to do my nephews SENIOR pictures!  I can't believe it!

Did some back to school shopping with the boys today, and of course they had to have a little fun on the "rides"

Saturday August 26th

Today we headed north to float the Saco!  It did not feel like summer (it was 67 degrees!) but we made the best of it and had fun anyway!

After the float, we headed to one of my childhood favorites, The Poor Peoples Pub!  It was fun to bring the boys to a place I spent many summers eating at!
