Opening night for Peter Pan, Jr.! After watching how hard our parent volunteers work to do costumes and make up, I started taking costume portraits so the hard work would be preserved forever.

PROJECT 12M ~ February 2018
To get students excited about Peter Pan, Jr., the cast preformed one of their numbers at the All School Meeting. I just love watching all these kids on stage!
At Evan's school, it was Blankets and Books night. The students started off by making a blanket and then hearing a story by author Erik Pinder. After the story kids were able to have a small treat in the cafeteria.
And because life this week is super busy, Valentine's Day cards were put on the back burning. Nothing like last minute preparations! They had to do all of this after dress rehearsal and the literacy event! Sleep is overrated anyway right?

PROJECT 12M ~ February 2018
With Shaun entering show week for Peter Pan, Jr. next week, we had to celebrate Valentine's Day a little early. Our normal tradition has been that we get dressed up and have "fancy dinner" in our dining room, but with sports and meetings and rehearsals it wasn't going to be in the cards. So we did the next best thing and got dressed up and headed to our favorite place, Ciao Pasta!
