Today we took advantage of the free passes the kids received from ski club to check out Bretton Woods.

Nice views of the Mount Washington Hotel! Wishing there was more snow here though, lots of trails closed but with discounts and free passes for the kids all 5 of us got to ski for $80, can't beat that!

PROJECT 12M ~ February 2018

On my mission to find a crêperie before leaving Canada, we went a little off the beaten path of our route home, only to find a handwritten sign, (written in French) that I can only assume meant sorry but we're unexpectedly closed today! So back to the drawing board and we made our way to this Canadian chain, think upscale IHOP. It wasn't the authentic crêperie that I had hoped to find, but they made a flower out of my strawberry and the food was fresh and tasty!! Now it is back to the states.

We took the day off from skiing yesterday to explore Quebec City.  It was super windy and super cold so that wasn't as fun as we had hoped.  We spent the rest of the day relaxing at the condo.

Today we went back to Mont St. Anne for our last day of skiing before heading back home.

Today we headed to Le Massif de Charlevoix.  Here you start at the top and ski down towards the St. Lawrence river.  The views are stunning.

Most people try to get away from the cold this time of year, but not this crazy family - we went north! At the summit of Mont St. Anne!

There was a sugar shack off to the side of one of the trails and during the weekends they make Maple Syrup Popsicles using the snow!
